Evangelism reimagined

I sat with the founder and leader of Eyes On Eternity, a local community church Paul who was desperately seeking help on how to help grow his church. One of Paul’s painful remarks was; “we are a small church,” he acknowledges. ”We are never going to be hundreds of people in attendance.” Evangelism has always played a key role in church growth but, how can we enable EOE to get it right? The challenge we face here is, How can we design a result driven evangelism strategy that will save the community church from shutting her doors to the public?

The problem facing churches in Ireland

Ireland has witnessed shocking closure of Franciscans and Dominicans which were two of country’s oldest religious congregations (McGarry, 2023). Furthermore, we are now seeing a serious warning from the Bishop of Lismore and Waterford that church closures are possible in Waterford too (Slater, 2024).

"Through a deep reflection on existing concepts and their application to real world scenarios, Chie has demonstrate an understanding of how new knowledge interplays with his prior knowledge. His works and presentation demonstrate a strong connection to academic concepts, an engagement, and you have an ability to integrate academic concepts into your reflections and apply them to practical situations."
